Terms of service
Last updated 25 September 2026
These terms cover your use of URL to Context at urltocontext.com, including its dashboard and API (the service). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. Questions go to alp@urltocontext.com.
The service
You send the address of a website. The service reads public pages of that website, uses AI models to judge which passages matter, and writes a business context: a brief, product, ideal customer, positioning and brand, with citations, notes and questions for the owner.
Your account and keys
You sign in with a code sent to your email address. Keep your account and API keys to yourself; you are responsible for what is done with them. Keep keys on your server and revoke a key you think has leaked. One person or organization per account: do not create extra accounts to collect more free contexts.
Acceptable use
Submit only public websites that you are allowed to have analyzed. Do not use the service to break the law or anyone's rights, to reach private networks, to overload the service or the websites it reads, or to get around its limits. Do not resell access to your keys. We may suspend an account that breaks these rules.
Generated contexts
Contexts are generated by AI from what public pages say. They can be incomplete or wrong, and they report a website's claims without verifying them. Check anything important before you rely on it. You may use the contexts you build for any lawful purpose; you are responsible for how you use them, including towards the businesses they describe.
Free contexts and credits
Every account gets free contexts. After those, one credit builds one context, and a context that fails costs nothing. Paid credit packs are not on sale yet; the terms for buying them will be added here before they are.
Availability
We work to keep the service running and correct, but it is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind. We may change, limit or stop features.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version, and we will email account holders about material changes. Using the service after a change means you accept it.
